FISHING GUIDES |
Matt Malowski       -----       Martha's Vineyard |
Web site: M.V. Fishing |
Specialty: Surf Fishing |
Growing up, Matt spent summers fishing on the Vineyard and then settled there after college to teach high school English, raise a family, work summers at Dick's Bait & Tackle and moonlight as an excellent surf guide. He knows all the best spots on MV and is really enjoyable to fish with. |
Steve Papows       -----       Rockport, Gloucester & Boston North Shore |
Web site: North Coast Angler |
Specialty: Light tackle in the surf |
Steve has lived in and fished the Rockport/Gloucester area his whole life. He is known up and down the north shore as a masterful surf fisherman. His first love is hunting stripers with light spinning gear and surface plugs. I've fished with Steve a couple times and, although he's forgotten more than I'll ever know, he's generous with his know-how and treats you like a peer. |
Captain Greg Snow       -----       Narragansett Bay and Block Island |
Web site: Snowfly Charters |
Specialty: Light tackle - surf or boat |
Greg took me around Block Island on my first trip there and I've been in love with the island ever since. Although he takes lots of clients out on his boat, he's a terrific surf fisherman and knows every hot surf spot of the Block - and there are many of them!. He has a preference for light tackle, fly or spinning, and big stripers. |
Bill Wetzel      -----       Eastern Long Island - Montauk |
Web site: Long Island Surf Fishing |
Specialty: The Montauk Surf |
Bill's face and his beach buggy are known to everyone who fishes Montauk. I've been out with him, and he can explain how to read the water and where and what to cast on every inch of Montauk's north and south side. The only thing Bill likes better than talking fishing is fishing. |
